‘Simple Folk’ is a collection of (Except 1) traditional folk songs depicting the life, loves and labours of the common man. Using traditional folk instruments, Irish bazouki, gittern, accordian, fiddle, didgeridoo, turkish saz and mountain dulcimer, and then ‘spicing’ things up with a few modern ones - synthesiser, double bass, and dobro guitar. Add to this Mandys clear, bell like vocals and you have a unique sound that sends the listener on a journey.......
